At the beginning, there is a Crescent City's map and there is an explanation about the four houses of Midgard. So there will be:

• A House of Earth and Blood. Linked to the title of the book.
• A House of Sky and breath;
• A House of many waters 
• A House of flame and shadow. 

Obviously in each one there is a brief description about what mythological creatures there are. So, for the example, there are angels, wolves and fae again...

Bryce is the main character of this book and she is happy. She has many friends, a boyfriend. I'm sorry, a rich boyfriend and another man ready to substitute him: Connor, my favourite. 

Again, these chapters are extremely intense, rich of descriptions and characters BUT I wanna read the next part. 

Expecially with THAT end!!!!

You know I'm shit with talking. But what I wanted to say - before you tried to get into a fight with me instead, by the way - was that I thingk itìs worth it. You and me. Giving us a shot. 

He'd added: I'm crazy about you. I don't want anyone else. I haven't for a long while. One date. If it doesn't work then we'll deal with it. But just give me a chance. Please.

☞ COMMENTO, questa volta, in italiano:

Allora. Ho avuto il piacere e l'onore (ma questo grazie a NetGalley) di scaricare limitatamente, quindi sia dal punto di vista temporale (ho ancora 52 giorni di tempo per rileggerlo) che della lunghezza stessa del romanzo, ben 5 capitoli inediti. 

Come già accennato, nella parte introduttiva c'è la mappa di Crescent City. Purtroppo è mooolto piccola e non si capisce benissimo. 

Poi, vi è una suddivisione delle varie case con annesse delle descrizioni degli esseri che, presumo, vi abitano. 

E' una storia ricca di dettagli, un mondo, ancora una volta, complesso, articolato in cui spicca la figura di Bryce, la protagonista. 

Mezza fae e mezza umana. 

Ha un bel lavoro, si diverte alla grande (anche con l'uso di droghe): si gode la vita, insomma. 

Da contorno vi sono una moltitudine di personaggi. Sì, nonostante si tratti di cinque capitoli i nomi non mancano. 

Dalla migliore amica (Danika), dal ricco fidanzato e da Connor, al momento il mio preferito. 

Non voglio spoilerarvi nulla di più oltre quanto detto dalla trama, tuttavia, un consiglio: fazzoletti a portata di mano. Con Sarah J.Maas sappiamo come vanno a finire certe storie....

Ho trovato bellissime le dediche, come sempre molto toccanti. 

Stavolta non lasciatevi fuorviare dalle iniziali del nome. Sebbene vi sia un personaggio che si chiama Reid  (iniziale del nome con la lettera 'R'), non si tratta di un nuovo book boyfriend.
Almeno, credo.
