Ladies and Gentlemen,

oggi, invece, vorrei parlarvi di un'altra serie avvincente. 

Sto parlando della serie "Grimm", ispirata alle fiabe dei fratelli Grimm, storia ambientata ai giorni nostri, che segue le "gesta" del detective Nick, un Grimm ovverosia un cacciatore di Wesen, demoni.  

Una serie di sei stagioni, comprensiva di 123 episodi. Una serie, ancora, conclusa e non interrotta.  

Ma, forse, non siete a conoscenza di altri tre casi inediti, su "carta".

Ladies and Gentlemen,

oggi vorrei cogliere l'occasione per parlarvi, in questo post, di un personaggio indimenticabile (almeno per me, ma l'avevo già accennato qui), dopo Fox Mulder, Patrick Jane, Cal Lightman ed Alexander Grayson. 

Tutti i nomi sopra citati presentano delle somiglianze tra di loro, ma in questo caso una differenza c'è. 

Lui è il concierge del crimine.

"Io sono un criminale e i criminali sono noti bugiardi. Tutto si di me è una bugia." 

Raffinato, elegante, distinto, pieno di aneddoti e storie vissute, un gentiluomo con le donne, col proprio codice morale (nonostante operi nella criminalità, un mondo privo di regole di cui lui è un'eccezione), spietato coi suoi nemici, letale, freddo, dalla mente brillante, astuto e leale verso coloro che gli sono fedeli.

"Tu vedi nero o bianco, invece è verde."

Dopo 10 stagioni brillanti, Red è anche su "carta".

Difatti, forse, non tutti sanno che, oltre alle graphic novel, vi sono alcuni libri che narrano vicende inedite della serie. Due per la precisione. Anche se viene citata una terza opera di tanto in tanto, ma è impossibile saperne di più.

Ambedue, i romanzi, hanno dei personaggi indimenticabili. 

Insomma, sono entrambi romanzi fantastici e stra-consigliati.

Ebbene, li ho letti entrambi iniziando da "Spark of the Everflame" per poi leggere "Powerless".

Tra i due, mi è piaciuto di più "Powerless".

✨ Lo lessi all'età di 17 anni, durante le vacanze estive, direzione Trentino. Quell'anno avevamo fatto Trentino/Veneto e, poi, a settembre, Sardegna. 

Come mia consuetudine, prima di partire per qualche località, devo necessariamente avere qualche libro da mettere in valigia e/o bagaglio a mano. Non a caso, anche adesso (adoro e) ricorro a borse particolarmente capienti. 

Quell'anno avevo già letto i romanzi di Kathy Reichs, visto che adoravo la serie televisiva "Bones", per cui dovevo scegliere qualcos'altro. 

Optai per un tascabile (che ho tuttora), acquistato, parecchi giorni prima della partenza, in edicola. All'epoca, infatti, la collana Harmony aveva deciso di pubblicare i grandi classici, in edizione ridotta. Lo scelsi, dunque, come mia lettura di accompagnamento nel viaggio e nel tempo libero. Apprezzai anche la versione ridotta in quanto avevo timore che potesse trattarsi di una lettura troppo impegnativa, oltre al fatto che potesse non piacermi. 

Non vi dico la mia difficoltà nel trattenermi dall'iniziarlo, specie dopo aver visto un film basato su quella storia ed ambientato ai giorni nostri.     

Divorai il romanzo in pochissimo tempo, tanto che, prima ancora di finirlo, ne comprai un altro che, però, non mi rapì in egual misura.

Pochi mesi dopo, questa volta durante l'anno scolastico, recuperai anche "Cime tempestose", lettura piuttosto deludente dopo quella di Jane Austen. 

Vidi, poi, la miniserie di "Orgoglio e Pregiudizio" ed il film del 2005, preferendo, però, quest'ultimo tra le trasposizioni cinematografiche.

☞ Questa canzone particolare, insieme a "Supergirl" by Dream Chaos Della ed ancora, "Calm down" by Dj Goja x Magic mi hanno "accompagnata" durante la lettura della serie "Shatter me" by T.Mafi.

Per i primi tre volumi ho ritenuto più adatta "Faded";

"Supergirl", invece, quando leggevo il POV di Aaron nella seconda trilogia e l'ultima canzone durante il POV di Kenji.

👉 Prime impressioni:

Si tratta di un titolo della mia famigerata wishlist. 

L'ho iniziato giusto ieri sera ed il prologo mi ha letteralmente conquistata. Quella frase ad effetto al termine dello stesso ha il suo perché. 

Tuttavia, il primo capitolo mi ha fatto cambiare idea altrettanto velocemente. 

Mi sembra, infatti, una rivisitazione della serie televisiva "Mercoledì" assieme al film "Lemony Snicket - Una serie di sfortunati eventi" (che non mi è piaciuto). 

Perciò ho dei dubbi al riguardo se proseguire o meno questa lettura....

Sebbene sia un titolo ancora inedito in Italia, alcuni rumors lo indicano in prossima pubblicazione anche qui da noi. Presumibilmente per il 2023. 

Non mi resta che proseguire un altro paio di capitoli per farmi un'idea al riguardo, pertanto la scelta è rimandata a stasera....
