- Troppe sono le mie parti preferite:

• Sicuramente tutte quelle che riguardano gli incontri tra i due protagonisti, almeno fino a quando l'identità di Isa viene svelata;
• Le conversazioni tra Isa e Nayna che includono Raj;
• L'incontro con la famiglia Bishop - Esera;
• L'epilogo.

- Nelle "retrovie", per così dire, assistiamo ad un'altra storia d'amore che ammetto non mi dispiacerebbe leggere. Spero difatti che il prossimo libro sia incentrato su Nayna e Raj 😍

"Who?" Isa asked before her eyes widened. "Noooo. Not the hunky guy from the party? What was his name? Raj?"
"Yes. Raj. The man I told to shut up because I didn't want his brain."

- La copertina è intrigante, anche se in bianco e nero 😶
- Ho apprezzato anche i salti temporali nel prologo e nell'epilogo.
- Come sempre i personaggi sono ben delineati. Non è difficile innamorarsi degli uomini di Nalini Singh, come non è neanche difficile sperare di incontrare delle donne che ti siano amiche nella vita reale come Nayna, anche se il legame tra le due ricorda quello di Molly e Charlotte o di Sara ed Ellie.

☞CONTRO:
- Avrei fatto volentieri a meno:

• della tragedia della sorella di Isa. Odio profondamente le storie drammatiche, non solo, anche la semplice citazione di malattie.
• La "battuta" sul gatto -.-

☞PERSONAGGIO FEMMINILE:
Isalind, nota anche come Isa Rain è la protagonista.
La incontriamo di sfuggita, con gli occhi di Sailor ad una festa ad un college. Ha subito un'umiliazione cocente e certo non vuole ripetere l'esperienza con un uomo come Sailor. Cambierà idea soccombendo al fascino del bel giardiniere o fuggirà a gambe levate dalla parte opposta?

☞PERSONAGGIO MASCHILE:
Sailor Bishop, il giardiniere della copertina.
Fratello minore di Gabriel. La collocazione è un po' "sbagliata" dato che è una storia antecedente a quella di Rock Hard. Consiglio di leggerla prima della serie Rock Kiss. Vi avviso, Sailor è più giovane della protagonista, ma ha tutte le carte in regola per rubarvi il cuore. Come? Ecco una citazione

"No, Isa isn't my sister...but she is mine."

E siamo praticamente all'inizio della storia.
